“Gamification is a motivating technique which makes use of game elements and game design principles in non-game contexts. Kelly Dillon showcases some brilliant examples of gamification and how people are using it to inject fun into otherwise mundane tasks.
Faces of Cape Town aims to bridge the gap by engaging with people from all walks of life. The subjects answer the question; “What is most important to you?” and then a portrait is captured. The portrait is a glimpse into who these people are, by using black and white the differences are minimised and the focus brought exclusively to the subject.
